Figaro’s to Honor Veterans and Active Service Members With Free Medium 1-Topping Pizza on 11-11-12
(Salem, OR)— Figaro’s Italian Pizza, Inc. (FIGARO’S) announced today that its participating restaurants will honor the nation’s veterans as well as currently serving members of the nation’s armed forces on Veteran’s Day, November 11th. On that day, any current or former member of the U.S. armed forces will be provided a complimentary medium 1-topping pizza, upon request.
Figaro’s CEO Ron Berger said that the Figaro’s franchise owners and staff wanted to recognize the tremendous commitment and bravery of our servicemen and women in some way, which led to the decision to conduct this program.
Figaro’s is a longtime member of the International Franchise Association’s Vet-Fran program, which provides assistance and incentives to help returning veterans to open their own Figaro’s restaurant. Figaro’s also provides scholarships to returning veterans to further their education, and the Company is a strong supporter of the Help Veteran’s Own Franchises Act.
Figaro’s restaurants are located in 9 U.S. States from coast to coast, as well as in three foreign countries. The company is based in Salem, Oregon.

Owners of the Year Award 2012 – Brenda and Chris Wylie
Having only purchased their Figaro’s franchise a little over 4 years ago, Brenda and Chris Wylie, owners of the Figaro’s Pizza in West Salem are once again chosen as Owners of the Year. (They previously were Owners of the Year in 2010.)

Madras Figaro’s Awards Culver High School Baseball With H.E.L.P. Grant
Pictured is Culver High Baseball head coach Shea Little, assistant coaches & team members receiving a H.E.L.P., the Charity Grant check for $200.00 cash & $200.00 in Matching Food Grant Voucher from Madras Figaro’s Pizza owner Tom Hansen. Little submitted the grant application to provide much needed equipment & supplies for assistant coaches & team members. Little said “As you are aware, school funds have been dwindling & our sports programs have suffered financially”.
